Five years have passed since “Maïsha suite” (InFiné), a first album where we discovered Thibault Renou's music, then surrounded by a large jazz ensemble, for a fanciful and “cinematic” encounter between electronic textures and organic orchestral masses.

With ARCHIPEL INVISIBLE, the composer continues his adventures alongside a close “core”, made up of Misja Fitzgerald Michel on 12-string acoustic guitar, François Chesnel on piano, Antoine Paganotti on drums and Anandha Seethanen on spoken word.
Starting from this point, the artist - now renamed TIBRE as if to bring the necessary distinction with his plural activity as a double bassist - set about a long and meticulous post-production work where the material is hybridized in a singular electronic weaving.

ARCHIPEL INVISIBLE reveals an odyssey inhabited by subtle asperities and strange beauty, cleverly architected like a nocturnal labyrinth where we will encounter the shadows of Paul Motian, Ryuchi Sakamoto, Floating Points, Marc Copland, Stockausen, Nicolas Jaar amongst others .

By subverting the playing of the instrumentalists and the story with atmospheres that are by turns artificial and hyper-realistic, by multiplying the blurring of sensations and the effects of strange duplicity, of "déjà-vu", in permanent interlacings of acoustic and electronic layers where time and space are dilated, “Archipel invisible” offers to hear a multitude of stories embedded in each other, as a testimony of several years marked by intimate and common crises: Cov-19 of course, but also departures and arrivals of loved ones, a look at a society dominated by voluntary alienation, social networks, hyper infoxication and digital predominance.
